Delivered by Instructor Trainer, Lisa Kaye, these three workshops will give you new programming ideas and challenges for your clients across a variety of Pilates equipment.
Earn 0.2 Merrithew CECs for each workshop. Completing all three workshops will earn your full 2017 CECs.
Athletic Conditioning on the Stability Chair Level 1
The Stability Chair™ can be an ultra-effective, compact piece of equipment for specially designed athletic conditioning workouts. Learn a variety of exercises that can benefit any level of athlete by retraining imbalanced muscles and building on the strength and agility of the whole body. This well-rounded workout, developed by the Merrithew™ team, provides functional movements against spring resistance in a variety of positions that train core stability while working bilaterally, unilaterally or reciprocally with the limbs to enhance sport-specific performance or everyday life.
Reformer with Fitness Circle
In this workshop, developed by the Merrithew™ team, learn how the Fitness Circle® brings variety and challenge into group or private Reformer settings. Add more challenge to adductors and abductors of the peripheral limbs as well as assist in activating the core. The Fitness Circle® resistance ring reinforces correct muscle firing patterns and helps ensure correct positioning while adding an element of fun and variety to each workout.
Pilates with Props Level 2
Add some interest to your Matwork routine and create an awesome series that demonstrates how to mix up a standard Matwork routine by adding the Flex-Band® exerciser, Fitness Circle® resistance ring and Toning Balls™. Focusing on strength and agility, learn variations and modifications that challenge and stimulate you and your clients alike. Maximize total-body strength, definition and muscular endurance with this dynamic workout, developed by the Merrithew™ team.
