Small Group Neuro Pilates Classes in Bentleigh East
At Move Move Pilates, every class is taught by me, Lou Conyers ā studio owner and sole practitioner. I specialise in small group Neuro Pilates classes designed especially for women over 50 who want to move with confidence, ease and joy.
Unlike traditional Pilates, my Neuro Pilates approach blends gentle, brain-based movement strategies with classic Pilates principles. This means every class helps you not only strengthen your body but also re-train your nervous system for better balance, coordination, and pain-free movement.
With only 3 participants per class, youāll enjoy the energy of a supportive group while still receiving my personal attention and guidance.
What Makes Neuro Pilates Differentā
Most exercise programs focus only on muscles. Neuro Pilates goes deeper, working with the brainābody connection. By using specific cues, breath, and gentle progressions, I help your nervous system āre-learnā safe, efficient movement patterns.
This approach is especially powerful if you:
- Experience stiffness, aches, or chronic pain
- Feel unsteady on your feet or worry about balance
- Want to stay active and independent as you age
- Prefer a gentle, supportive environment over āno pain, no gainā workouts
Why Choose Small Group Classes
I keep my classes intentionally small ā never more than three people. This allows me to tailor each exercise to your needs while still creating the camaraderie of a group.
Youāll benefit from:
- Personalised guidance and hands-on support from me every session
- A safe, welcoming space where youāre never ājust another numberā
- The motivation of moving alongside like-minded women
- Access to professional Pilates equipment including the Reformer and FuseLadder
What to Expect in a Class
Each 40-minute class begins with gentle mobility work to āwake upā your nervous system. From there, we move into carefully chosen exercises on the Reformer, FuseLadder, or mat ā always adapted to your body.
Youāll leave feeling:
- Taller and lighter
- More connected to your body
- Energised yet calm
- Confident that youāre moving in ways that support your long-term health
