The necessary fine print

Booking Classes

In order to book a class or make an appointment, you must have a valid membership or class pass. (See Payment section for more details.)

Classes can be booked:

  • Anytime through our online booking system or mobile apps.
  • Between 9am – 5pm by calling 03 9024 2644.
  • Up to 4 weeks in advance.
  • Up to 90 minutes prior to the class start time.

Waitlists

If a class is full, you can add yourself the waitlist and we will notify you if a space becomes available.

Class Cancellations and No Shows

Class bookings can be cancelled up to 3 hours before the class start time with no penalty. To ensure cancellations are processed in a timely fashion they should be made via the online booking system or app. Alternatively please text your instructor directly.

No shows and cancellations less than 3 hours before the start time will be charged as follows:

  • Class passes and private appointments will incur the full rate.
  • Move +1, Move +2 and Move +3 members will use a class credit for the week.
  • Move + Unlimited members will incur a no show/late cancel fee of $15. This will be automatically charged to the credit card or bank account used for your regular payments.

Availability of Classes

Move Move reserves the right to make changes to the published timetable at any time without prior notice.

Classes do not run on Victorian Public Holidays. Move Move may run a reduced timetable over holiday periods such as Christmas, New Year and Easter.

Class bookings are made for the class, not the trainer. Move Move reserves the right to change the trainer at any time without prior notice.

Payments

Clients must purchase either a class pass or membership. This can be obtained prior to booking or at the time you book.

Memberships must be paid for with a valid credit or debit card. Memberships are charged fortnightly. After the minimum term, four weeks’ notice prior to the next payment date is required to cancel.

 The Movement Movement uses a third-party payment processor, Ezidebit. Credit card/bank statements will show the charge from ‘EZIDEBIT AU NEWSTEAD AUS’.

Membership Suspensions

During the minimum term, memberships can be suspended for a maximum of two weeks. The time that the membership is suspended for will be added to the remaining term.

After the minimum term, memberships can be suspended in one-week blocks for up to six weeks in any 12-month period. Suspensions longer than 6 weeks will be treated as a cancellation and the cancellation policies will apply.

Two weeks’ written notice must be given prior to the date from which the suspension will start.

Membership Cancellations

After the minimum term, memberships can be cancelled at any time by giving 4 weeks’ notice in writing.

Move + Unlimited Membership

Move Move offers a limited number of unlimited memberships. These memberships allow you to book into as many classes as you like per week with no restrictions.

To qualify for a Move + Unlimited membership you must have no injuries or health issues. Approval for a Move + Unlimited membership is at the discretion of your Move Move Pilates Trainer.

If, during your Move + Unlimited membership, you become injured or develop a health issue, Move Move reserves the right to cancel or suspend your unlimited membership and transfer you to another membership for the duration of your rehab or recovery.

Refunds

If you become unable to attend classes for medical reasons, Move Move will

  • Refund any unused class passes purchased in advance
  • Waive the notice periods required to cancel your membership (however please note no refund of membership fees already processed will be made)

A letter from your medical professional is needed. Refunds are processed less a $20 administration fee.

Prices may change at any time. Move Move will give two weeks’ notice of any price changes.

Media Recording

During the course of classes, Move Move may take photographs and videos for use in promotion of the studio. Such use includes the display, distribution, publication, transmission, or otherwise use of photographs, images, and/or video taken for use in materials that include, but may not be limited to, printed materials such as brochures and newsletters, videos, and digital images such as those on the Move Move website.

Move Move will not specifically identify individuals by name in images without their express permission.

Refer-A-Friend

Benefits only apply to friends and family who are new clients to Move Move. Discounts only apply to memberships, not class passes. Both you and your friend must be a current member to qualify for discounts. The Movement Movement may change or withdraw the scheme at any time with two weeks’ notice.

Instructor Training

Workshops

  • Bookings must be made using the online registration form.
  • The full amount due must be paid or a payment plan set-up within 7 days of receiving your booking confirmation email from us to secure your place.
  • The full amount due must be paid:
    • Before the end of the early bird or special offer pricing period to secure these prices.
    • 28 days prior to start of the workshop.
    • On the booking date if booked less than 28 days prior to the start of the workshop.
  • If a workshop booking is cancelled by the student more than 30 days before the start date monies paid will be refunded less a $50 per workshop administration fee.
  • If a workshop booking is cancelled by the student less than four weeks prior to the start date of the workshop, there will be no refund of monies paid.
  • Students can change to other equivalent workshops on the same weekend (subject to availability) free of charge.
  • Workshops require a minimum of 6 students to run. If a workshop is cancelled due to low numbers a full refund of any monies paid will be made.

Courses

  • Bookings must be made using the online registration form.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 20% must be paid within 7 days of receiving your booking confirmation email from us to secure your place.
  • The full amount due must be paid:
    • Before the end of the Early Bird pricing period to secure these prices.
    • 14 days prior to the start of the course.
    • On the booking date if booked less than 14 days prior to the start of the course.
  • Courses can be paid for in instalments as long as the balance has been paid in full by the due date.
  • If a course booking is cancelled by the student with more than four weeks notice the 20% deposit will be forfeited.
  • If a course booking is cancelled by the student less than four weeks prior to the start date of the course, there will be no refund of monies paid.
  • Courses require a minimum number of students to run, this varies by course. Please ask for specific course details. If a course is cancelled due to low numbers a full refund of any monies paid will be made.
